Our first relaunch event, centred on sharing best practice to support students with generating and developing ideas. The focus will be writing for film and television, but teachers of all screen subjects are very welcome. The programme is as follows:

• Session 1 (1 - 2.30pm): Script Specialists: an introduction to 'Script Specialists', a scheme of work designed for KS4/5 but which will be of interest to anyone teaching introduction to screenwriting.

• Session 2 (3 - 4.30pm) : Ideas Generation Workshop: an interactive workshop, where participants will present and share class activities to help students generating ideas.

• Session 3 (5.15 - 7.30pm): Q&A with Rosie Alison & Tara Cairns (Heyday Films) and networking drinks.

The event will take place at London Screen Academy, Ladbroke House, 62-66 Highbury Grove, London N5 2AD (directions). It is free to attend, and you can book for all or only selected sessions. Workshop attendees will receive a free copy of a screenwriting textbook (further details to follow).
