This free event is aimed at secondary teachers in North Lanarkshire delivering the new Scottish film & screen curriculum (https://www.screen.scot/screen-education/a-draft-film-and-screen-curriculum-for-scotland), and will be pitched at an introductory level.

The first half will cover basic principles of cinematography (exposure, white balance, etc), and the second half will be hands-on practice, including advice for low-to-no-budget filming. This will be tech-agnostic: in the practical section, teachers will have the opportunity to practice with a range of equipment, including iPads, smartphones with rigged kits, and DSLR cameras. 

The workshop will be led by Dungeon Frog Director Alex Blackmore, and Dungeon Frog Co-Founder Sarah Yule, who bring together 15 years of experience in the UK film industry.
