Frame Forward 2026: End of Year Celebration

  • English Media Centre 44 Webber Street London, England, SE1 8QW United Kingdom (map)

Join us to celebrate the end of the academic year with a FREE event structured around sharing ideas and best practice in screen education. This event is open to educators teaching all screen subjects and will run in two strands. You can choose between:

  • Strand 1: A day of reflective pedagogy sessions, peer clinics and best-practice activities

    • In pedagogy sessions, hear from teachers who discuss current best practice with inspirational activities to take back to the classroom. In peer clinics, bring a specific question or challenge and meet with a smaller group of fellow teachers to tackle it together. This strand is ideal for anyone looking to talk to other educators and gain inspiration.

  • Strand 2: Skill-building with a day-long smartphone filmmaking workshop

    • Spend your day learning how to use smartphone filmmaking equipment to make a short video. This strand is ideal for anyone who wants to learn new skills in this area, or encourage young people to use their smartphones to make their own films.

All attendees will hear from industry guest speakers and finish the day with celebratory drinks. As this is a celebration of your achievements this year, we encourage all attendees to share their accomplishments and congratulate each other throughout the day.

We are delighted to be able to offer this event free to educators at the English Media Centre offices in Waterloo, London.

Registration from 9.30am with the event beginning at 10am. Event activities will end at 3.15pm with networking drinks to follow until 5.30pm. Anyone who wants to carry on the celebrations can find a unending amount of pubs and restaurants in Waterloo!

Please note, tickets are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
