The network team collates resources from multiple sources each week to share with members, which may be of interest to you and your students or alumni. These resources are not necessarily created by us and the original source will be linked for you.   • BFI NETWORK Short Film Fund Support: applications are now open for the BFI Network England Short Film Fund. Applications are open until 18 Mar, and Film Hub North are offering a range of different support opportunities for anyone planning to apply which include online roundtables, filmmaker mixers, and one-to-ones.

  • Creators’ Fund+ 2026: We Are Scotland are offering a support package worth £2,980 to successful awardees of the Creators’ Fund+. This fund is specifically for Black and Global majority creatives and cultural professionals in Scotland. Applicants must be 18+ and can have already started a business or be at the start of their career.

  • Our Creative Community Wellbeing Scale:A co-designed evaluation tool enabling creative practitioners to measure changes in young people’s wellbeing.” Southbank Centre have created a Creative Community Wellbeing Scale and are asking for additional participants to take part in the pilot phase of its use.

  • Screen Scotland Summer School: teachers in Scotland may be eligible for the Screen Scotland Summer School at Valley College Stirling Campus 20 Jul - 31 Jul 2026. “The Summer School programme is an intensive learning opportunity to equip teachers with the subject knowledge required to deliver the film and screen curriculum. In addition to this there will be support for teachers to develop delivery models, appropriate to their own settings, as part of their learning.”

  • Dance Digital - Call for Film Submissions: Sadlers Wells presents, Dance Digital: A dance film festival from Digital Stage. There is still time to submit a film for the festival, until 22 Feb, with a breakdown of the different film categories on their website.
