Discover Creative Careers Webinars for Educators
Delivered by FuturesForAll, this online session for teachers will introduce the opportunities available during the Discover Creative Careers month in November, as well as places to signpost young people for creative careers advice. Running twice on 28 Sep and 1 Oct.
BFI Film Academy Labs recordings library
The BFI Academy has recently restructured around new hubs, but recordings of their previous BFI Film Academy labs are all available online and may be useful to inform your teaching or share with young people? Sessions include film poster and trailer design, ‘making music videos’, ‘why good people make bad characters’, and ‘the art of directing actors’ (if you want some hands-on training on this, join our Directing Actors session in London on 10 November).
ERIC CreaTech Week
The ERIC app ran a week of online careers talks dedicated to the Creative Technologies (CreaTech) sector - all videos can be freely accessed via their website.
Into Film Festival
The Into Film Festival is an annual nationwide programme of free film screenings and events for 5-19 year olds. Lots of screening available across the UK, and can be booked via their website. This year’s theme aligns with the National Year of Reading.
